The idea (︎︎︎) The table, as a popular subject in art history, often carries symbolic and allegorical meanings while offering insights into the social and cultural practices of different time periods and places.

Under the concept of "From Farm to Table", I transformed a simple table setting into three dreamy Tostao tables, beautifully emphasizing the journey of Colombian produce from different farms, highlighting its diverse origins and harmonious pairing with Tostao Coffee. Set in a warm and cozy atmosphere achieved through a combination of natural and artificial lighting, these captivating images invite viewers to immerse themselves in the vibrant food heritage of Colombia. The photographs radiate warmth, reflecting the earthy tones inspired by the Colombian landscapes, and evoke the diversity of the country's thermal floors.

EVERYTHING HAS A PROCESS

As the table was the starting point to approach the concept, they weredeveloped by mixing everyday ingredients with day to day objects including bottles, vases, bowls, and other simple vessels.

Drawing inspiration of the table configuration of Giorgio Morandi’s subdued color palettes, predominantly consisting of earthy tones and muted hues, Tostao’s tables ground into a soft tropical color scheme characterized by a sense of quiet harmony, paying close attention to their relationship with light and shadows.

Table settings additional to offering insights into the social and cultural practices of different time periods, they can reflect the customs, manners, and material culture associated with dining, revealing information about class distinctions, etiquette, and societal norms.
