The idea (︎︎︎) Found objects (sometimes referred to by the French term for found object ‘objet trouvé’) may be put on a shelf and treated as works of art in themselves, as well as providing inspiration for the artist.

In this case, we turned to the vintage markets of Bogotá, looking for fragments of individual and ephemeral histories. The viewer finds them in seemingly unhistorical and largely uninterpreted arrangements. We are free to create our own associations, to trace histories across time and not necessarily in a linear direction.
